This is just the most charming cottage I have encountered in Setenil. You can tell the minute you walk inside that the owners know their antiques and it turns out they are in the business.
The house crosses two streets; it has a private entrance on the lower level with a little white wrought iron gate and from the above, you enter the house from a winding path, which has not changed in centuries. From the open plan living, dining area with French windows you look out onto the pretty town of Setenil. The small kitchen is tastefully fitted and there is a bathroom on this level. Full of light, comfort and irresistible antiques, I tried to buy a couple of pieces but was told they are sold with the house. Downstairs to a very large bedroom that looks like it was taken from a designer’s magazine, again tasteful antiques and another modern bathroom. The house comes fully furnished and fitted, not a penny to spend, and you could auction the antiques! Setenil is a well-known tourist town so renting could be an easy option. Highly recommended.
